The range is also artificial fragrance, colouring and preservative free. \n\nWhat is it \n100% naturally derived botanical complex of pure plant oils and essences that is intensely aggressive towards head lice and their eggs on contact. \n\nWhat it does\nThe phyto-chemical composite of Lice Bomb is formulated to combine natural plant derived insecticidal oils with plant derived solvent oils. Our unique double distilling process and combination of these two key adjutants substantially amplifies the potency of the essential oils and delivers an aggressive attack on head lice and their eggs. Lice Bomb uses natural terpenes and hydrocarbons from high grade essential oils that can normally be ingested safely by humans but have higher solvent powers than chemical paint thinners. These double distilled natural solvent oils instantly dissolve away any protective lipase coating on the exoskeleton of lice or lice eggs enabling the full potential of our natural insecticidal essential oils to attack the insect. Due to it s plant derived origins, Lice Bomb is non-toxic and non-aggressive to humans when used in accordance with manufacturer s instructions. \n\nLice Bomb\nIs recommended for: Assistance in preventing head lice; Children aged over 3yrs. \n\nWhen to use it\nUse in the eradication of a head lice infestation or as a pre-cautionary application if head lice infestation probability is high. \n\nWhen not to use\nHead lice infestation often creates an itchy scalp that may create skin sensitivity to essential oils. Always patch test the skin prior to application to assess sensitivity to the product. If sensitivity does occur, rinse immediately with warm water and pour cool milk (soy or cow s milk) liberally over the effected area to soothe the skin.\n\nHow to use\nApply a small amount of the Lice Bomb to the scalp beginning at the nape and behind the ears. Massage the oils through the roots of the hair. Apply small droplets of oil as required to enable thorough coverage without dripping of excessive oil. Pay careful attention not to get the essential oils into the eyes as this will cause stinging (flush thoroughly with cool water if eye contact does occur). \nOnce a thin film has been achieved on the entire scalp begin to comb the hair from roots to ends with a fine tooth comb. This will ensure that any head lice trying to escape the solution by travelling up the hair shaft will be removed from the hair and ultimately killed. \nLeave Lice Bomb on the hair for up to five minutes. Repeat the combing procedure at regular intervals throughout this time. \nRinse from the hair using warm water. Apply a small drop of the new vegetable oil blend to the scalp and evaluate the skin sensitivity level. Repeat the patch test procedure described above and continue to dilute oils as described if sensitivity persists. \nDo not use eco.kid Prevent shampoo to cleanse off eco.kid Lice Bomb... both of these products contain high levels of essential oils and this may result in some skin irritation. \nUse eco.kid Prevent or Prevent Sensitive shampoo and Nourish Hydrating Conditioner the day after and from then onwards to help deter any reinfestation. \nAvoid eye contact. If contact does occur, flush eyes with cool water until irritation subsides. If irritation occurs after following the sensitive skin remedies described above, discontinue use. \nDo not use on children under two years old without medical advice. Pregnant mothers should always seek medical advice before using head lice treatments. USE ONLY AS DIRECTED. For external use only. \n\nPatch Test\nPatch test should be trialed prior to the application of any eco.kid product. \nEssential oils are generally considered safe for human skin at the levels used in our products, however, there is always a possibility that some individuals may find that one or more of the complex phyto-chemicals in natural plant essences act as an irritant to their skin. \nIf the skin shows signs of redness, itching or stinging during, or immediately after the patch test, please avoid further application. \nTo soothe any irritation, the scalp may be bathed in cool milk to relieve the symptoms. \nTo administer a patch test follow the following instructions: find a small patch of skin behind the ear and apply a small quantity of the product to be tested. \nObserve the patch for redness or irritation within the first few minutes.
